Anatole France au Balaton

Je n'ai pas beaucoup appris, hélas, mais me remonte à la mémoire cette phrase d'A. France qui pourrait s'appliquer aujourd'hui au Balaton: "Je vais vous dire ce que je vois quand je traverse le Luxembourg dans les premiers jours d’octobre, alors qu’il est un peu triste et plus beau que jamais".

L'automne aux cheveux roux porte partout la même perruque, la même teinture, les mêmes parfums.

Le petit port de Balatonfured plairait au marin Jean-Christophe...

Un bateau comme ceux-ci coûte 9400 euros.

Qui dit mieux? C'est pas bon cygne ça?

Et quand on descend du bateau, y'a tout ce qu'il faut pour graisser la meule... 

 

Quand on veut flâner, on peut...

Notre amie Finlandaise qui a aussi une maison au Balaton

Quand on veut grossir, on peut!

Si on aime les maisons typiques, on peut en voir...

 

Et quelques bâtiments publics...

 

Dont un musée avec un Géza Farago!!!!

 

Et.... quand on a fait tout cela on va se décrasser au sauna ou à la piscine, souvent déserts...

Around 9.15 this morning in the subway...
                     
                                  

Mili-Mali-Malou, alias Julie, always happy to move anywere ...

After 20 minutes we reach the train station called Deli destination: Balaton lake!
The first train is quiete modern...

The second is old...

 but we don't care, we are over 65 and all ground transportation are now free!!!!

2,5 hours after we are at the lake in the nice fall colors.

The hotel is not small but is right on the lake shore...

We are here for 4 days, Julie is havaing a bridge tournament. It means she is free in the morning and can do things with her husband. And play cards in the afternoon and evening up to 11 p.m. Yeah! I'm free!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The best probably is that we have a great bedroom with a terrace and an amazing view on the lake...

 

Yes, we moved 3 times untill I was happy with the accomodation. Life, isn'it?

After a nice walk, a warm sauna and 20mn of swimming, I'm writting on the balcony in front of Tihany the well known Balaton peninsula. You can see at the top the church just behind the trees...
